Een scriptschrijver in Hollywood heeft een serieuze writer's block en krijgt geen letter op papier. Via een vriend ontmoet hij 'een originele dochter van Zeus' ofwel een Muze. Radeloos als hij is vraagt hij haar om hulp en betaalt al haar kosten, en dat zijn er nogal wat. Haar adviezen leiden hem uiteindelijk naar een script dat absoluut moet gaan scoren. Wanneer de Muze ook zijn vrouw adviseert, namelijk dat ze een bakkerij moet gaan beginnen voor haar overheerlijke koekjes, is hij minder blij. Vooral omdat hij voor het script al genoeg offers heeft moeten brengen.
