Als je Ray en Mickey Davis zou ontmoeten, zou je zweren dat ze een volmaakt huwelijk hebben. Maar als je Mickey’s dagboek leest, zou je weten dat er onrust op de loer ligt. Dan verschijnt Scott Muller, een onbetekenende inbreker die de woning van de familie Davis berooft – en er vandoor gaat met allerlei waardevolle zaken en met Mickey’s dagboek.
