De broers Roemello en Raynathan Skuggs, de grootste drugsdealers in Harlem, hebben geen gelukkige jeugd gehad. Hun moeder overleed aan een overdosis toen ze nog erg jong waren en hun vader gaat gehandicapt door het leven sinds hij jaren geleden onder handen genomen werd door de bende van Gus Molino. Nog steeds bestaat er een vete tussen de beide clans, waar enerzijds Roemello en anderzijds Lolly Molino leiders van zijn. Roemello wil echter stoppen met alle duistere zaakjes en een normaal leven opbouwen met de mooie Melissa. Maar wanneer zijn vader hem vraagt zich te wreken en zijn beste vriend bovendien vermoord wordt door Lolly, staat hij voor een groot dilemma.
